After School Leaders

Esther Liu

Esther has over three years of experience working with children ages 6–12. In 2015, she opened her own after-school program while caring for her son, gaining valuable insight into both children’s needs and parents’ concerns.

She completed the Pathways to Childcare Careers program at the Pacific Immigrant Resources Society, earning her Responsible Adult Certificate and completing 80 hours of practicum experience at a local daycare center.

With a strong background in child development, Esther is passionate about creating engaging, hands-on activities that encourage learning and build confidence. She loves working with children because of their honesty, openness, and energy, which make every day rewarding and dynamic. Her goal is to provide a safe, inclusive, and fun environment where every child feels supported to explore their interests and grow.
